The World Festival of Animated Film ANIMAFEST, founded in Zagreb fifty years ago, is one of the oldest festivals dedicated to animation. On the occasion of the festival’s 50th anniversary, the jubilee exhibition Animafest Zagreb 1972-2022 was organized in MSU, thus summarizing the half-century history of the festival. Mandlek, a man with a top hat, the legendary mascot of Animafest, was chosen as the symbol of this entire jubilee.
